The Vigilant is written and maintained by a community of fans. We all met through the GW2 Facebook page, and have since founded a small guild and started this blog. While there are many of us, only a handful will be posting. We come from all over the globe and with different personalities and backgrounds, but we have one thing in common - we can't wait to get our hands on GUILD WARS 2!!!

Rhysanne (role-playing persona) - I am Sylvari, born to the Cycle of Dusk. Although we Sylvari share our memories though the Dream of the Pale Tree, our connection to the Dream diminishes greatly after we enter the world. I have been walking the surface of Tyria long enough to know the value of preserving one's history. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to become a scribe for the Sylvari, recording that which the Dream cannot.
Saxon - I've tried writing this bio section a few times, but it always ends up sounding like I'm applying for some online dating service.

Xander - Much like Jonathan Swift, I also believe we should eat human babies, but without the satire. I have a fondness for all things Charr and a great appreciation for all the professions. I often drift onto tangents, linking seemingly unrelated subjects to science. I love Science. Don't be surprised when seeing me write about lore, I end up discussing all the unique possibilities that Sylvari biology could take.
VerMagnus - Hi there! I am a big time game fan, so much so that I decided to make it a career goal, and thus am currently going to ITT Tech for an Associates in Visual Communication (game design). I've been married to my awesome wife (who I am slowly turning into a gamer) for 4 years. We have a 4 year old daughter who has my wife's looks and my personality... she's a great kid and I love her to pieces.
